My Approach & Values
Life is full of transitions and often presents with challenges that require us to adapt and change. I can help by creating a safe environment that promotes healing and growth through the changes of life. I do this by being attentive, supportive, challenging and compassionate while embracing the losses and struggles that our lives bring. The short term goal of therapy is symptom reduction, while the long-term goal is transformation.
I work with those who want to address their depression, anxiety, grief, and self-esteem. I am passionate about enriching marriages and families and have much experience working with children. As a spiritually sensitive psychotherapist, I approach this process of healing and growth as sacred work, approaching each person as someone to be deeply respected.
I work with those who are interested in strengthening their relationships or working to move past their hurts and traumas into a healthier way of living. I like to help my clients understand what self-care is and learn the imperative to care for the self before they can care for others.
